A light and airy space detached from the main house for use as an art studio with an attached conservatory for sitting and enjoying the garden, with the feel of being away from home. Externally to match the existing house in style as much as possible.

The old tired garage was removed, with the original brosley tiles stored for re-use. The foundations walls and floor all built to current building regulations. 1 meter deep foundations, cavity wall with foilbacked kingspan insulation, treated and graded timber for the roof with the use of breathable felt membrane. Velux roof lights and powder coated aluminium windows door and conservatory unit. Externally the spar was able to be matched exactly to that of the existing house and with the use of the existing tiles and matching rainwater goods, the building blends and flows with the main house. The whole project was completed by ourselves, including the decorating with the use of professional sub-contractors for the electrics and aluminium products. The Path shown was an added extra to the project using reclaimed bricks and finishes the project of a treat.
